How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected in part by you providing it to us. This could be data that you enter into a contact form or send to us by email.
Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website through our IT systems. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

The use of Hetzner is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable presentation of our website possible. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage period is mentioned within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you make a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent for data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data.
Your Rights
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent for data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
4. Data Collection on this Website
Server Log Files
The page provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request and IP address.
This data is not combined with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, server log files must be recorded. Server log files are deleted after 14 days.
Contact Form and Email Contact
If you use our contact form, your details (email address, message, topic, the page you sent it from and – if provided – your name and the address of your existing website or Google Business Profile) are forwarded by our server by email to our mailbox. They are not stored in a database. If you contact us by email, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries directed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
To send the form messages and for our email mailbox we use IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter "IONOS"). IONOS processes your message on our behalf on servers in Germany; transmission is encrypted (TLS). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.
We delete enquiries that do not lead to an order no later than twelve months after the last message, or earlier if you ask us to delete them or withdraw your consent. If an order is placed, we keep the correspondence as business letters for six years (Section 147 (1) nos. 2 and 3, (3) German Fiscal Code, AO).
Sample sites (*.demo.nolte-apps.de)
Under *.demo.nolte-apps.de we show sample sites of fictional businesses. We are the controller; the information on server log files above applies to visits. The sample sites contain no forms that transmit data to us or to third parties, and they do not load content from external servers.
In the sample shop we store a technically necessary cookie ("warenkorb") for the cart with the selected items and quantities, for no more than six hours (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). Whatever you enter at checkout or when withdrawing is processed only to validate the input and replaced with sample data before it is stored; only items, quantities, postcode and town are kept. This demo data is held only in the server's memory and deleted after one hour at the latest. No emails are sent and no payments are triggered. If you log in to the sample shop with the sample account, we set a technically necessary cookie ("konto") that only contains the sample account and is deleted when you log out, after 30 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in demonstrating our offer (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Cancellation via "Verträge hier kündigen" (cancel contracts here)
If you cancel a contract at nolte-apps.de/kuendigen, we process the type of cancellation, the reason if given, your name, your email address, the contract, the requested date and the date and time of receipt. The details are not stored in a database but sent by email via IONOS to our mailbox; you receive a confirmation of receipt by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR in conjunction with Section 312k BGB and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We keep the cancellation as business correspondence for six years (Section 147 AO). To limit misuse, we keep your IP address only as a hash in memory for no more than 15 minutes.
Letters to businesses and preview sites (*.entwurf.nolte-apps.de)
We write once by post to local businesses that do not yet have their own website and show them a preview of what their website could look like. For sole traders this is personal data. We only use publicly available information: the name of the business and, where applicable, of its owner, address, phone number, opening hours and type of business. Sources are OpenStreetMap, announcements in the commercial or trade register and the business's public company profile; the letter states which source we used.
The preview site is hosted at an unlinked address on our server at Hetzner in Germany (data processing on our behalf), is blocked for search engines and contains no form. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting our services to businesses (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, recital 47). If you do not reply, we delete the preview and the data no later than four weeks after the first letter and do not write to you again.
You can object to this use at any time (Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR); an email to info@nolte-apps.de is enough. We then delete everything and keep only the name and address of the business on a suppression list so that you do not receive another letter. Your other rights and the right to lodge a complaint are listed above.
